Interstate linehaul

Interstate freight
between every capital

Nightly linehaul from our Mascot depot to Melbourne and Brisbane, three runs a week to Adelaide and a weekly Perth service. Pallets, cartons or the whole truck — priced per kilo, per pallet or per load.

from A$0.92/kg
The service, properly

How the interstate service works

Freight interstate is mostly a maths problem: consolidate enough pallets onto one truck and the per-kilo rate drops for everyone. That's what our nightly runs do — your freight shares a tautliner with dozens of other consignments and you pay for your corner of it, not the whole vehicle.

We run our own trucks on the Sydney–Melbourne and Sydney–Brisbane lanes because they're busy enough to justify it. Adelaide and Perth go through partner linehaul carriers we've used since 2020 — the tracking still flows through us and the quote still comes from our desk.

  • Pickup windows 8:00–17:00, dock cutoffs at 18:30
  • Goods-in-transit cover up to A$50,000 included
  • Live tracking with scans at every depot handover
  • Tail-lift and forklift-off available both ends

0 years on the M1 corridor
0 weekly pallet movements

If a quoted transit time slips because of something on our side, we tell you the new ETA before you ask — and the re-delivery on a missed window is on us.
What it costs

Interstate freight rates

Priced three ways — per kilo for loose cartons, per pallet for standard skids, or a fixed rate for a full truck. GST is already inside every number below.

Surcharges are rare and always flagged on the quote: regional pickups outside the metro zone, tail-lift at both ends, or after-hours delivery.

The linehaul crew

Interstate is our oldest service — the founder still takes a run down the M1 every few weeks, mostly to keep the coffee stops honest.

Dispatch, linehaul drivers and the receiving crew at the destination all work from the same manifest. When your freight moves, the person who quoted it can see it move.

A truck leaving at nine with an empty corner is money on the road. That's why our per-pallet rates are what they are — we'd rather move it full.

Questions

Interstate questions

The four things every first-time shipper asks before booking.

Loaded tonight, delivered tomorrow or the next morning depending on the delivery suburb. Brisbane is the same pattern; Adelaide two days, Perth four to five.

A standard skid is 1.2×1.2m, up to 1.8m high and 1,200kg. Overhang or double-height gets quoted as oversized — send a photo and we'll tell you which rate applies.

Regional NSW runs on Tuesdays and Fridays through partner carriers — Dubbo, Wagga, Coffs, Tamworth. It adds a day and a regional fee, both shown on the quote.

Chilled we can arrange through partners. Dangerous goods we don't carry on general linehaul — DG needs a dedicated run and a proper quote.
